The gala was well attended by over 300 guests, including the Minister of Education of Liberia,Dr. Jarso Maley Jallah, who proxyed for H.E. Mr. Joseph Nyumah Boakai, President of the Republic of Liberia, Mayor of the City of Winston Salem, J. Allen Joines, Miss North Carolina, Carrie Everett, other dignitaries and well wishers.
